# Item and order-level notes

For any questions or support on printing issues, including configuring the layout of dockets printed by your POS, please **contact your POS provider**.

Your POS will receive item-level notes and order-level notes if these are sent with an order.

**Item-level notes** will print under the item they relate to, in the same way options for that item would print.

**Order-level notes** will print on your docket and may appear in different locations on your docket based on your POS:

| **POS** | **How are order-level notes printed?** |
| --- | --- |
| Impos | Order-level notes are usually printed as the last item in the docket. |
| Lightspeed | Order-level notes are usually printed in the top section of the docket. |
| Ordermate | Order-level notes are usually printed in the top section of the docket. |
| Square | Order-level notes are usually printed as the last item in the docket. For these order-level notes to print correctly, 'uncategorised items' must be enabled in your POS to print at the relevant printers.
