What happens if the Venue loses connectivity to Doshii?
If the venue loses its connection and subsequently stops sending a Heartbeat, Doshii will backlog up to 10 minutes worth of event notifications. Upon reconnection, Doshii will replay this backlog.
Any event that is older than 10 minutes will not be resubmitted, so it is advisable that POS vendors implement the Get Unlinked Orders endpoint, which will enable the retrieval of any unlinked Partner created orders.
Partner app providers are encouraged to take advantage of the Location Health endpoint to confirm a venue's connectivity with Doshii.
